Boy Naomi we have some facts that aren't jiving and yet are using the same people. My Katherine Lubben's husband drowned in Germany before she came over and while she was pregnant with Henrietta. Anna and one of her brothers came on ahead and stayed with others in Iowa until their mother could come over. Katherine came and became the housekeeper for Dennis Lipp and then married him. This is the story that my grandmother heard from her mother, who was the sister to Aunt Yettie as we always referred to her. Does any of this sound familiar to you at all?
