Researching - James Edward Luby born 1807.James came from County Tipperary, Ireland to United States in 1831 on the sailing vessel Essex.We think he had a brother by the name of William Luby.
I have not been able to confirm the year James came to America, the vessel, or his brother's name.

James landed in NY and in that city and Fort Washington worked at different occupations for 22 years.He also worked and lived in Westchester, NY.In 1865 he took up residence in Burlington CT.
In Fort Washington James worked for Madam Burr.We know his brother was in that area also at that time.
