Howdy, fellow Lucios!
I am Jessica Lucio of Irving, Texas (near Dallas). I am actively researching my Lucio line in search of answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The information I have...
-My father: Carlos Lucio born 22 March 1956, California
-Grandfather: Jesus Manuel Lucio 26 April 1922, El Paso, TX
-Great-grandfather: Manuel Gonzalo Lucio born 1888, Chihuahua, Mexico. Married Casamira Mendoza 1960, Eastland, TX. Died 1960 El Paso, TX
-Great-great-grandfather: Francisco Lucio... This is where everything gets foggy, and perhaps hits a brick wall. It is my understanding that Francisco was born Francisco Gonzalez, but was adopted into the Lucio line in Mexico during the Mexican Revolution (perhaps) as a result of a pact between a Lucio family and a Gonzalez family. The deal was that if anything happened to one man or the other, the surviving man would adopt the other's family. Well, according to stories, Gonzalez died, so Francisco became a Lucio.
Now, Jesus Manuel was the oldest of 8 or 9 children: Antonio Manuel, Jose Carlos, Lucia, Rosa Alejandra, Reynaldo, Salvador Vicente and Rumaldo Antonio. There may be one more...still trying to confirm.
Does any of this sound familiar? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
