I am related to the Luckows of Belvidere, IL, so when I saw you email I had to reply. My grandfather was Henry Carl Luckow (1897-1975). He did have a brother named Albert, however, he would have been of a later generation than the one that witnessed John Herman Luckow's wedding. My great grandfather could be John Herman or Hermann. An aunt of mine has this information so I am going to contact her. There is also a story of my great-great grandfather and his brothers coming to this country together, and I think one of them died in Chicago (and I somehow have old trunk that belonged to him). How are you related to the Luckows in Belvidere?
