I have the Mayflower marriages from the 1600's to the 1900's and there are no Ludington/Luddington's listed.
I also have the Pioneers of Massachusetts which I don't give much credence too but William is listed as is a Christian age 18 came in the Hopewll in april 1635.
William, weaver, Charlestown, his house beyond the 1/2 mile limit from the village which had been set by the Gen. Court; law repealed 13 May 1640.Res at Malden.He deposed in 1657 ae 50 years (MDX files)Children Thomas age 20 and John age 17 deposed the same day.
Wife Ellen; ch Mary b Dec 6, 1642, Mathew b at Malden Oct 16, 1657 d 11 Dec 1657.
He removed to New Haven and d therePetition for admin. made in MDX co.Aug 1, 1661 by John Wayte.James Barrat, Admin. filed inv Feb 1, 1662.
Luddington is also spelled Louddington.
