Hi Beth 0 Betsy,

We have a similar thread.. My G Grandfather was August Carl Luedtke. He came to America in August of 1887 landing in New York. He and his family at that time settled in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin.

As I write we have yet to find him. He was married to Wilhimina Henritta (Minnie)Plantiko in Germany.

Wilhimina, in 1895, married Fredrich Flach.

We have yet to find any information about what may have have happened to Carl Luedtke.

Thanks for any information that you may pass to me.

Dick Scheit
