Former Galena Veteran Succumbs In Hospital
Galena, Kan., March 2. ó Joseph Roy Lumbley
Joseph Roy Lumbley, 55 years old, formerly of Galena, died Sunday night in a veterans' hospital at Los Angeles, Calif., where he had been a patient since October 8. He was reared in Galena and served in World War I. He was a master Mason in Rolla, Mo. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Donna J. Lumbley; a sister, Mrs. Bonnie Lindsey, and a brother, Ralph Lumbley of Modesto. Calif., and an aunt, Mrs .Rhoda Freeman of Joplin.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in California with burial in the Sartell cemetery, with military honors.
