George Lumpkin is also a ancestor of my husband. He was one of the founders of Laws Chapel in Cass County Texas. He died in 1881 and I believe he is buried in the Laws Chapel cemetary. There is interesting information on the web about Laws Chapel. I can send you a link if you like.

I am trying to find out who George's parents were so I can follow the trail back to the first Lumpkin that came to this country. Do you know their names?
