Lumpkin of K & Q County Va mid-1800's.

Trying to unravel longevity of children of John and Maria Lumpkin, namely the service of their sons, 1861-1865, and whether the sons survived. 4 sons may have served: Bolivar born about 1830; Henry born about 1836; Osmond born about 1838; and Cincinnatus born about 1840. The family was reasonably intact in Newtown in 1860. Specifically trying to determine whether Cincinnatus, who initially joined Capt. John R Bagby's Co. 4th Regt Artillery May 29 1861 at Stevensville and then transfered to the CSN later that year, actually survived the conflict. There is an individual in Buena Vista in 1870 whose given name might be a shortened version of Cincinnatus, but, the age is off. Surely there is someone tracking the children of John and Maria who knows the whole story. Thanks.
