To those people who have known him through the years as a great source of the Lute family history, Keith passed away a few weeks below. His obituary is below.

Keith Lute, 81, of Rochester Mills, PA, Indiana County, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born October 19, 1930 in Lockport, Pennsylvania, Keith was a son of the late Orlo and Helen (McNutt) Lute.

Keith was retired from the U.S. Air Force, and had served during the Vietnam and Korean eras. He was also a member of the American Legion - Bolivar. Keith considered his hobby to be a genealogist and family historian for the Lute family in America.

Besides his parents, Keith is preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Parscale, a brother, Orlo Lute, and a sister, Allegra Carns.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy S. (Windon) Lute, two sons, Larry K. Lute and wife, Bobbie of Bolivar, and David R. Lute of Rochester Mills, PA; a daughter, Alethea Parscale and husband, Steve of Kansas City, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Lute and wife, Kelly, Scott Lute and wife, Paula, Benjamin Lute, Katherine Lute, Kristin Parscale Williams, Kara Parscale, Klayton Parscale, and Kyler Parscale; three great-grandchildren, Zoe Bahner, Paige Williams and Alexander Williams, and one great-grandchild on the way.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe, PA 15650; Military services will be held on Monday, 10:30 AM, in the funeral home, with the American Legion Post #515, and the V.F.W. Post #3414.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Fisher officiating. Interment to follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
