Shirley:
I found where Abner Littrell was the bondsman for John Green and Elizabeth James Aug. 1791 Fauquier Co. Va..
Abner Litrael is on the Lafayette County Arkansas Territory 1831 Tax List.
Abner Litrell is on the Lafayette County Arkansas Territory 1833 Tax List.
As I previously stated Abner Litrell is listed with my GGG Grandfather Morris May on a lawsuit in Lafayette Co. Ar. c1831-1832. The suit concerns 4 slaves that a woman by the name of Polly Williamson of Heard Co. Ga. claimed that she owned but Morris May had them in his posession and would not give them back.
I loose track of Abner after this but it seems Morris May knew Abner as early as 1822 when Morris married Elizabeth Luttrell who I assume to be kin to Abner.
I know of the other records concerning Abner in Fauquier Co. Va. and Ky. but if you should come across any more information on him in Ar. or elsewhere I would really appreciate it if you would let me know.
Thanks
Dianne
