Your are in the right family. Franz Anton is the German spelling for Francis or Frank in America. I use it because it was his given name in Germany but the Americanized version is also acceptable. I don't know if you had some typos but here are some differences I show. Jacob was either born in Bavaria or on the ship as his parents came to America. There are stories both ways. John Lutz b.9/5/1865 & d. 3/4/1931 was youngest son in the family and my grandfather. I have Margaret Lutz d. 9/12/1892. Jacob L. who you mention I have as Jacob A. and Rachael Conrad (wife of Liborius) d. 3/15/1896. If you send me email I'll get you more details. Leo Lutz (
