AUGUSTA LUTSKY (LUTZKE?). Limerick. Ireland.

Anyone connected to Augusta Lutsky who was the daughter of a Leopold Lutsky. She married in 1872 at Limerick, Ireland to John Cummins. They had two known children - daughter Adina Mary Cummins and son Francis Cummins. Both born in Limerick in early 1870's. The family then moved away. To where? Can anyone give me details/clues as to origin of this surname (Prussian or Pommeranian or Russian or other?) and any likely reason why it would be in Limerick, Ireland in 1870's.
