our Lux relatives were from silesia also,
specifically Ebersdorf, Germany. Ambrose
Lux came over to Nebraska and married
Philomena Rotter in 1880s. We are trying to
find out when he died and where he is buried.
He was in Omaha in the 1920 census, along
with some of his children, Theodore, Bruno, Benny et al. I have a lot of Lux info from
a member of the family that still lives in
Germany. Ebersdorf is now located in Poland.
And has a different name. We were there a
year ago and found the homestead where Ambrose was born.
