Unfortunately we don't know anything else on Carl or his family before he came to the states. We don't know his siblings or his cousins. There has been some wonder if he is related to a Mathias Lux who married a Siblila Kaumer/Kaymer and there are a few posts on that family on this Lux board too. I do know he came to Philadelphia in 1883 and then went to Kansas for a year then settling in Cottonwood, Sioux County, Nebraska till he died. He and his wife were the first to get a marriage liscense in the county and it is listed in the history books on Sioux County.
