Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

E.D. (Ephriam) Lux, Sr., b.1807 Ky., went to Texas with the Mercer Colony in the late 1840's from Indiana. All but one of his children went with him. Ephriam was granted several acres of land which is located in Hunt Co. Texas. We have found his grave on that land, and a Lux descendant has now purchased the land, so it in now back in the Lux family. To celebrate, we are planning to restore the grave and have a Lux Family get-together in the future (Hopefully by next year). If you are descended from this family and would like an invitation to this gathering and to see your ancestor's resting place, please contact me and let me know how you are descended from this man, (or how you think you are).
