Hi Ellen, don't think I've had the pleasure of conversing with you. Sue & I have talked several times & I'm looking forward to the Texas Reunion. Sue, if your listening isit still a go? Now back to Darby, Ive found out a lot lately & will briefly mention it. On Wikipedia there is a short bio of Darby Lux II who was a Lt Col in service to the Revolutionary War. His father Darby I was a sea captian & accumulated quite a bit of wealth after settling in the colonies. There's also a connection to Darby I. Darby II married married Rachel Ridgley & did very well after the war. He had a son Darby III who married Mary Nicholson another prominet family in MD.
As to William II son of William I & Wilmotta you can find him & his son Wm III in "Alumni Oxoneisis" denoting their education. You can find the Parrish Records for Kenton, Devon on line which list the family of Wm. II
