Peter Meisenburg, b. 1822 in Luxembourg; emigrated to the USA before 1857; he died in 1884 in Meeker County, Minnesota. His wife, Barbara Meisenburg, was b. 1827 in Luxembourg; she d. 1919 in Meeker County, Minnesota.
The family lived at first in Carver County (southwest of Minneapolis until sometime between 1875 - 1884 when they moved to the village of Litchfield, Meeker County, Minnesota.
The children were: Nick, b. about 1857 in Minnesota; Eva, b. about 1860 in Minnesota; Anna, b. about 1862 in Minnesota; Margaretha, b. about 1864 in Minnesota; Angela, b. about 1866 in Minnesota; Peter, b. about 1868 in Minnesota; and Theodore, b. about 1872 in Minnesota. Presumably all these children were born in Carver County, Minnesota.
I would like to know the home village in Luxembourg of this family. Also, what is the family name of Barbara Meisenburg?
Can anyone give hints or information about them?
