Thank you for this information. Perhaps he was born along the border of Belgium. Because Adolph was born in 1891, I think he would have indicated he was from Belgium or Belgisch-Luxembourg if he was born in Luxembourg. My cousin remembers Adolph's son very well and the son always said his Dad was a Luxembourger.
I know this family name is not common in Luxembourg.
