I am looking for information on the Becker family of Reckange (Mersch Parish), particularly Valentin Becker, who moved from Reckange to Useldange in 1696 when he married Elisabetha Meng. The couple had one child Tilman, who became a notary, and also had a son who was a notary. Valentin Becker is designated as godfather in the Reckange birth records in 1693. Is he the brother of Johannes Becker, who show up as father (with wife Anna) in the Reckange birth records beginning in 1682?
