The following are entries in a family bible belonging to a distant cousin of mine.I hope the information will be of use to someone.

- James Lycett born Oct 21st 1804 at 10 minutes before two o’clock in the morning.
- William Edward Lycett born Nov 16th 1806 about 8 o’clock in the evening.
- The above are two sons of James & Mary Lycett who were married at the Old Church Manchester on the 19th of September 1803.Note her maiden name was (Batte ?
- Also John Lycett, born December 17th 1808 at half past six o’clock in the evening.
- Note James Lycett the father of these three sons died June 17th 1814 & was buried at St. Luke’s(Chorlton ?) upon Medlock H.L. aged 42 born 1772.
- William Edward Lycett married to Harriette Knowles at the district church of the Holy Trinity, Islington, London on the 10th of February 1835.
- Mary Lycett their daughter born 27th of February 1836 at 12 minutes past 11 p.m.
- Also Harriette Lycett their daughter born 3rd October 1838 4 minutes before 12 am.
- Also William Edward Lycett their son born 28th October 1839 at 10 o’clock p.m.
- The above all christenedat the Old Church Manchester.
- Emily Lycett daughter of William Edward and Harriette Lycett born on the 21st of January 1842 20 minutes before 7pm was christenedat the Collegiate Church on the 6th of April, died on the 4th January 1843 & buried on 9th January at St Georges Church in Hulme.
- John Lycett who was christened on the 25th December 1808 at St Annes Church Manchester, died 5th June 1844 was buried at St Lukes on the 10th June 1844 (unmarried)
- Mary Lycett the wife of James Lycett died January 1845 & was buried 9th January 1845 at St Lukes aged 66 years of thereabouts.
- Arthur Lycett son of William Edward and Hariette Lycett born 21st November 1844, christened at the Collegiate Church 17th April 1845, died 4th September 1846 and buried at St Georges Hulme.
- Henry Lycett son of William Edward & Hariette Lycett, born 15th March 1848 at a quarter to 9 a.m. christened at the Collegiate Church.
- James Lycett son of James & Mary Lycett died 14th October 1848, buried 19 October 1848 at St Georges Hulme.(died unmarried aged 44)
- Emily (second of the name) daughter of William Edward & Harriet Lycett born 13th August 1850 at 25 minutes before 4 a.m.Christened at the Collegiate Church18th December 1850.
- Edith Lycett daughter of William Edward & Hariette Lycett born 12th June 1857 christened at the Collegiate Church.
- Mary daughter of W.E.& H. Lycett married to E Green of Wakefield 8th Sep 1859 at St Margaret’sDunham Massey.
- Fanny daughter of W.E. & H. Lycett married at Bowden Church to W Brown Captain R.A. 8th October 1862, died 15th of August 1865 at Sangor N.W. India, leaving one daughter Annie Frances Brown, born at Kuttree 14th December 1864.
- Emily Lycett married J.H. Wheelright of Ripponden, Yorkshire at Bowden Parish church 15th June 1871.
- Henry Lycett married Annie Wild of Birckdale Park,Southport 20th Nov 1873 at Holy Trinity Church, Southport, Lancashire.
- William Edward Lycett, eldest son of W.E. & H. Lycett married Elizabeth Wetherell 25th April 1875 atShipton church Salop.
- Mary Lycett daughter of W.E. Lycett jnr & E Lycett born 20th March 1876, christened at wheat Hill church on Easter Sunday 1876.
- William Edward Lycett son of W.E. & E. Lycett born 28th April 1877.
- William Edward Lycett sen. Born 16th November 1806 died on the 16th May 1877 a little before 9 o’clock in the evening & was buried on the 19th at Bowden Church, Cheshire.
- Note the James Lycett who died in 1814 appears to have had a brother Edward, (another brother or cousin Joseph, all the grandsons of John Lycett of Cannock.Their father’s name seems to have been James?
- James Frederick Lycett son of WE & E Lycett born 12th of Oct. 1878 died on the 18th of March 1880 & was buried on the 22nd of March 1880 at Wheat Hill Salop.
- Hannah Lycett daughter of WE & E Lycett born on the 15th of June 1881 at Cleobury Mortimer, Salop, a little before ten in the evening.
- Edith Lycett youngest daughter of WE & H Lycett died at Bowden on the 11th of February 1882 about half past one p.m. aged 24 years & some months & was buried at Bowden Church, Cheshire on Wednesday Feb 15 1882.
- Harriette Lycett wife of W.E. Lycett died on the 6th of March 1899 aged 84 years & was buried at Bowdon Church Cheshire on the 9th of March 1899.
- Mary Lady Green wife of Sir E Green Bart, & eldest daughter of W.E. Lycett died on the 7th of November 1902 aged 66 years & was buried at Sandall Magna, Wakefield on the 10th of November 1902.
- Hannah daughter of W.E. & E. Lycett married to Alfred Ricley of Bridgnorth on the 18th of June 1907 at the Parish ChurchCleobury Mortimer, Salop.
- Enid Lycett daughter of Alfred & Hannah Ridley born the 12th of December 1908 & was christened at St Mary Magdalene Bridgenorth on the 12th January.
- Henry Lycett son of W.E. & H. Lycett died on the 11th of June 1909 aged 61 years & was buried at Birkdale, Lancashire on the 14th of June 1909.
- Harriette Lycett second daughter of W.E. & H. Lycett died on the 13th of May 1910 aged 72 years, & was buried at Bowdon Churchyard, Cheshire on the 18th May.
- Emily (2nd of the name) wife of J.H. Wheelright & younger daughter of W.E. & H. Lycett died on the 21st May 1912 aged 62 years, & was buried at Dean Head Churchyard on the 24th May 1912 in the Parish of Scammonden.
- Nancy Aileen Ridley, 2nd daughter of Alfred & Hannah Ridley born at 1.15 pm on January 11th 1914 & was christened at the church of St Mary Magdalene Quatford on the 8th February.
- William Edward Lycett died on the 14th of December 1914 aged 75 years, & was buried in Cleobury Mortimer Cemetery on the 18th December.
- Nelson Wheelright fifth son of the late J.H. Wheelright (Lieut. Commander R.N.) DIED 27TH august 1922 aged 40 & 9 months.
- Hilda Wheelright second daughter of the late J.H. Wheelright died April 1916 aged 41 years, & was buried at Riskworth.
- J.H. Wheelright Esqr. Died July 1918 aged 78 years, & was buried at Dean Head Churchyard.
- Elizabeth Lycett widow of William Edward Lycett died on the 17th April 1929 aged 82 years & was buried at Cleobury Mortimer Cemetery Apr 20th.
- Lady Lycett Green sife of Sir Lycett Green died at Hen Hill, Snettishan, Norfolk in April 1934 aged 68 years daughter of Aurthur Wilson Esqr. of (Trasby ?
- Sir Lycett Green Bart eldest son of the late Sir Edward Green died Jan 16th 1940 at Arnfield (Dringhonses ?) York aged 79 years & 8 months & was buried at Bishopthorpe near York on Jan 19th 1940.
