Margaret Lymburner's Marriage????

There seems to be a problem. According to messages found on this e-mail system, Margaret Lymburner was supposed to have married Nehemiah Gilman of New Brunswick. Well, my relative in NB keep saying it was not Nehemiah, but his father John Gilman who married to Margaret Lymburner (born in Scotland) because John's son Nehemiah married Jerusha Courser. This information is what I personally have found on the census too. Last night I called Canada and spoke to my cousin who had a letter written by a second cousin saying the very same thing I just reported, and another distant cousin, stemming from Nehemiah's brother, initially reported the same too. By the way, I believe Nehemiah=Jerusha is the 1851 census, however the name Gilman does not appears under the name of Gilman in that census, but under the name Gilmour. Can anybody help me sort out this confusion. Thanks
