Capt. John Lymburner was born in 1773, the son of John Lymburner and Jean Glen of Brooksville, Maine. On 10 Jan 1799 he married Jennet Miller, the daughter of James Miller and Mary Alexander of Belfast, Maine. John died 25 March 1815 in Gibralta. Children:
1. Jennet L. Lymburner, b. 29 March 1799.
2. Robert M. Lymburner, b. 6 March 1801.
In 1814, the Brig "Three Friends" was captured by the British, who sent her master, Capt. John Lymburner as a prisoner of war, to Gibralta. He died there 26 March 1815 at the age of 42 years.
