I have a single page in my family book on Sam J. Lynum. It shows he was born in 1827/28 in South Carolina. Middle name may have been Jackson. It shows only one marriage to Elizabeth A., who was born @ 1835 in Alabama. There were three children born to Elizabeth: Abraham C.(b. @ 1864), Lenora D.(b. @ 1866) and William B.(b. @1870) all in Alabama. Most of this information is probably from the 1880 census.
