Lynam Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Linda, My husband is Roy L. Lynam from Wake Forest, N.C. His father was William Millius Lynam and his father was Charles Burin Lynam. I have been researching and it has been very hard. There are not a lot of Lynams. However, The "Harricanes"(the locals say it in two syllables: "Hairkins") is in Wake County next to Granville County. It use to be big Moonshine country. The land was rocky and nothing much would grow. These days the land is very desirable because of The Falls Lake and expensive homes are being built. I have some good history on the area if you are interested. I think George is a brother to one of my husbands grandfathers. I have some infromation but having trouble putting it all together. I am missing a generation. Everone is dead except for his Uncle Buster who is 90 years old and has trouble remembering. :o) I would love to talk with you or at least e-mail and compare notes. I just found out about this web site..... Regards Donna Lynam, 116 Dundin Place, Matthews, N.C. 28104. 704/821-8139 P.S. We are fixing up his home place in Wake Forest and plan to retire there one day. Our phone there is 919/556-3802
