Dennis - I believe we have George and Thomas Linam in common. Your lineage apparently goes through John Thomas, the sixth child of Thomas Linam and Elenor Wadlington. Mine goes through Thomas & Elenor's first child, James W. Linam. James W. died in Victoria County, Texas, in 1864. Don't know how close that is to your Texas line. I have John Thomas in Lockhart, Texas. I am seeking any information on the origins of George Linam. DAR records have him in Maryland & Delaware before moving to Union County, SC. Family lore has him coming into Charleston, SC. Would appreciate anything you have. Am also interested in your later lineage. I did not have John's middle name as Thomas. Regards.
