I found the following obit in a cigar box kept by my grandfather and felt that I should share the info. He wrote 7/25/60 on the obit.

Mrs. Vina Keerans Lynam, 83, widow of the late Boone Lynam, of Green City, Kentucky, died at 10 am Wednesday at her home. She had been ill only two hours and death was attributed to a coronary.

The deceased was born October 29, 1881, in Fleming county, a daughter of the late Riley and Sarah McGregor Keerans. She had lived in Green City her entire life.

A retired housekeeper and a member of the Christian church, Mrs. Lynam was a kind and devoted mother to her eight children. She will be greatly missed by her many friends.

Surviving are six sons, Thomas and Rubert of Titusville, Fla., Elmer, of Covington, Riley and Kelly of Bethel, Ohio, and Dryce, of Lancaster, California; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Glover, of Nashville, Tenn., and Miss Ellen Lynam, at home; 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at the Grange City Christian church with the Rev. Myron Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

The remains are at the Hutton Funeral Home at Hillsboro where friends may call.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Lynam, Weldon Lynam, John Lynam, Earl Burnett, Ecton Myers and J.B. Anderson.
