Dennis,

I don't know if my information relates to the John R. Lynam you are interested in or not.

My great-great-grandmother's name was Anna Maria Lynam (1843-1905); she married Edward Cranston, also of the Wilmington, Delaware area.

Her father's name was John Richard Lynam (1808-1883).

She also had a brother named John R. Lynam (1845-1926); he married a cousin, Lavinia Lynam. Unfortunately, I have no information about John and Lavinia's descendants.

[I have photographs of all the parties mentioned above.]

There was also a John R. Lynam III in our family; he was son to Anna Maria's brother Robert Lynam and might have been about the right age for your John R. Lynam.

Unfortunately, none of this seems to have any connection with Mr. Brittingham's posting on the subject. You are free to contact me if any of this is of interest to you.
