Hello. My Gr-Grandfather was James L Lynam. He was born approx 1856. He lived in Brooklyn. He was a conductor on the 5th ave. Trolley. He later opened up Lynam & Purvis undertakers at 503A 4th ave in Brooklyn. The only thing I know about his father was that he was a Brooklyn Bridge painter who died of pneumonia and that he was from Meathe.

His wife was Elizabeth M. Leggett (Leggett might be maiden name, not sure) Lynam and they bore 6 children. Elizabeth, Anna C., Ida, Thomas J., Francis R., Jennie M.

Thank you,
Dick Barr
