Mary Sophronia Caroline Linam ("Fronie") was the daughter of Thomas Marcus Linam (b. 6 Aug 1828 in SC, d. 3 April 1888, buried in the Linam Cemetery in "The Hills" near Eden, Concho County TX) and Mary Thomas Donaldson (b. 15 June 1839 in Mississippi, d. 28 Oct 1892, buried in Linam Cemetery near Eden, TX).

Thomas Marcus Linam was the brother of John Linam whom you saw in Dennis Alan Whitfield's lineage. Their father was James W. Linam (b. 18 July 1798, Union District, SC, d. 17 Oct 1864, buried in Victoria County, TX). Their mother was Caroline D. Earle Littleton (b. 20 Aug 1804, Newberry County, SC, d. 1 Jan 1867, buried in Victoria County, TX). I can go back two more generations if you are interested.

Mary Sophronia was one of twelve children. I have her birth as 10 Sep 1867 or 1868. Do you have a source to verify 1868? I agree on her marriage to Thomas Eagan on 7-15-1885. She died 22 Aug 1906 in Colorado Springs, CO and is buried in Lamar, Prowers Co., CO.

I am the grandson of her brother James Volentine Linam. If you have descendent information on Mary, I would be interested.

Regards, Jim
