I am have been researching Anders Lynam and his family. My Anders Lynam (also spelled Linam and Loinan) first appears at Old Swedes Church, Wilmington, Delaware in 1716 where he rented the church land to farm. Our family tradition is that the Lynam's were Swedish but I cannot find any link there. I have found the Lynam family in Wexford County Ireland in 1600. Can anyone confirm that the Lynams were Swedish?
