I am related to George Linam who was reportedly born in 1745 in New Castle, De. He moved as a young man to Union Co., South Carolina. He was a Lt. in Brandon's Brigade of the South Carolina militia during the Revoluntionary War. He received a land grant of about 750 acres for his War service. His younger brother, b. abt. 1747, also in De. was Charles Linam. Charles died in Union Co. in 1813 and George died in 1815. I am very interested in sharing any information you may have on this family. Thank you Lane D. Brooks.
