Did you know Obadiah Lynes served in the 8th MS Infantry Company K, Jones County (Ellisville) as a Confederate? He is on the muster roll. I am looking for more information about him too. He is supposed to be the father of my Grandmother, Emma Elizabeth McBride Pearson, and her brother Monroe McBride. I understand there is a book published about him. Would like to hear from you.
