Debbie, I, and several others who have hit the same wall with Isaac B. or Ben I., are of the opinion that this may not have been the father's name in this case. I believe that the father may actually have been Samuel or his brother John as Uriah is shown to live only a few dwellings distant from them in the 1840 census of Barnwell Dist. Judge Huxford's notes in his library show some of the same thoughts on his part but unfortunately that is not what he published. His info has thrown alot of folks off course. I will continue to dig and please let me know if you find anything different. By the way my g-grandfather, who was Uriah's son, was named Isaac Benjamin. Thanks, Sam Lyons
