I am researching Caroline Lucinda "Cindy" LYONS, born about 1846-1850 in Ohio. She married Joseph J. DRAGOO in 1872 in Red Oak, Montgomery Co., IA. They were in Taylor Co., IA in 1880 and in Custer Co., NE by 1885.

The 1885 Nebraska State Census shows that Caroline's father was born in Vermont and her mother in Massachussetts. The last document for Caroline (Lyons) Dragoo was about 1887 in Nebraska.

Amos LYNES, son of Daniel and Caroline LYNES lived in Red Oak, Iowa in 1870-1872. His father was shown as born in Vermont and mother in Massachussetts. Amos moved to Taylor Co., IA and Joseph and Caroline followed.
There has to be a connection here.

Joseph and Caroline had two daughters: Mamie Edith, Mertie Ann and a son, Elzie Thomas.

Does anyone have documents to help me verify that my Caroline LYONS was a daughter of Daniel and Caroline LYNES, and a sister of Amos LYNES?
