Hi...I am searching two Lynn families...William H. Kincheloe and Margaret Lynn's son Elias B. Kincheloe's daughter Margaret married William Wesley Stallings and their daughter Della B. Stallings married Thomas C. Lynn. One of their daughters, Helen, married Earl Newberry...they were my my great-grandparents. On the 1870 Indiana census Thomas's parents William T. and Phoebe(Benton)Lynn had a Nathan Lynn living with them...I am assuming this is the Nathan that is recorded as being born about 1800 in Louisiana Territory, Missouri....the census has his birthplace as Missouri. They are recorded as being in Muhlenberg, Ky. in 1850. Nathan's wife was Elizabeth ? Also, is there any indian heritage? My dad said he thought our great-great-grandma Lynn was half choctaw....and that someone in the family walked the Trail of Tears? Also, that someone was one of the first drivers for Wells Fargo? Any help would be appreciated to get started...thanks to anyone in advance.
