Len--Many Thanks for your quick followup with more information. Clearly your line of Patrick Lynskeys is not the same one that I have been following, but I am convinced that your line and mine is very close in relationship. I have also meanwhile found a Milltown in County Galway that is probably the one that you are referring to. It is located northwest of Athenry, whence my immediate line stems. Also for your information, my grandfather's brother, William Lynskey, son of Martin Carroll Lynskey (the immigrant from Athenry), married a lady in southern Virginia named "Wall."

I would be interested in knowing where your immigrant Patrick Lynskey arrived in the U. S. and where he made his home. It might help me in doing some more research.
