Thank you for the response. I did find Susan Boyle as you did, although I can't connect her to the John you mentioned (I found him too). She would be my relative because Bridget and McParland are mentioned in my grandfather's autobiography. From what the two of us uncovered, it appeared she didn't have children and the line died there. Lizzie married George McCann but I haven't found much there yet either. Eventually I will find their obituaries and tie up that side of the family.
