Hello List: I am looking for a probate record for Bearse Eldredge who was born in Barnstable County MA about 1774. He died April 1, 1846.He was the son of Thomas Eldredge and Elizabeth Bearse.He was married Rebecca Nickerson. This couple had many children, one of them a son who is my great grandfather John Eldredge born about 1803 Chatham. I am trying to prove this "John Eldredge" as my line and would like to see if he is mentioned in a probate record for Bearse. Does anyone on list have any such records or books? I also need to find the marriage of John Eldredge to a Ruth Nickerson which would have occured somewhere between the time Ruth became widowed in 1856 to Michael Dagget Nickerson and then up to the 1860 Barnstable census which shows her as living with John Eldredge.Does anyone know where I can look and how much a copy of this record would cost.
