Harlow, you are an angel!! I know it may not be her but right now I'm willing to take the chance. I have ordered death certificates and obituaries from the Boston Archives before. Actually, if this Barbara Scott is who I think she is, her grand daughter Bessie (Scott) Bourque and family were living in Lynn Ma. shortly after Barbara's death. You are right about what info would be on the death certificate because her only child George Scott was living here in Saint John and I'm not sure if he was even notified. Barbara was a widow when she came to Saint John, didn't stay here very long, then by herself went to the New England area. I guessed it was the Boston area because she did travel to Saint John in the early days. All the information on the 1880 census for Falmouth really makes me believe its her. Everything seems to fall in place. Heres hoping!!
