Actually Harlow, that is very helpful! Do you know anything about any other Dean Rogers born in the same time frame? The Dean I am looking for according to the census was born about 1786 in New Hampshire according to the 1850 census. He ended up leaving the Northeast and moved to Rutherford County, Tennessee. The Dean Rogers in the 1820 Barnstable County Census was the only Dean Rogers I could find in the 1820 census. Our Dean wasn't in Tennessee yet in 1820 and I checked Maine, New Hampshire and the closest thing I could find was the one in the 1820 Barnstable County census; however, I know for a fact that ours made it at least until 1850, so this one couldn't be ours. If you know of any others I could investigate I would forever be in your debt. Thanks
