You might find more in this book: The Godfreys of Chatham, MA by Elizabeth Pearson White of Winnetka, Ill. as both Benjamin Bearse and Jane Collins married a Godfrey. See notes below. Couldn't find a record of the marriage date either. Good Luck

Benjamin was the son of Benjamin and Sarah (Cobb) Bearse of Barnstable. [1]-p63
he later married Jane (Collins) Snow, the widow of Prence Snow Jr. of Harwich. Five of his 9 children are from his first wife and this is made clear in the probate proceedings of the will of Moses Godfrey [1]-p63.

Jane Collins married Benjamin Bearse, son of Benjamin Bearse and Sarah Cobb, circa 1744 at Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Jane Collins married George Godfrey, son of Moses Godfrey and Deborah Cooke, on 9-Nov-1758. Jane Collins died on 16-Aug-1768 at Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
