Phippen family of Salem

I wonder if someone could tell me the relationship of Walter G. Phippen and Arthur N. Phippen, both active in Salem (Essex County) circa 1914. Brothers? Father/son? If it helps, Walter was a medical doctor. If anyone has any further biographical detail on either one, that too would be wonderful.
