The death and birth of both Peter's of Peter "Sr" and Mary Pearson can be located in the Newbury Vital Records under the spelling Moers. The Peter baptised in Haverhill was Peter Morse, and not of interest to this line. Ester Clark was mistaken about Peter being from Haverhill, probably because some of the settlers came from there. Peter "Jr" is listed as a foot soldier in the local Rowley militia in Jun, 1757, abt. 5 years prior the move to Maugerville. It also appears that Peter "Sr" was married prior to his union with Mary Pearson. There is an "intention" recorded in the Newbury vital records between Peter Moers and Sarah Noyes for 1713 and mention of Peter and Sarah Moers in the reading of a will for Rev. Nicholas Noyes in 1718. What happened to Sarah between 1718 and 1723 is unknown, but there is little doubt that they are the same Peter.

I am writing a family history of some of Peter "Sr" descendents, so if you have any insights or information not readily available through publication, I'd greatly appreciate your imput.
