Does anyone know what happened to Mary Sloan, born March 20, 1879, in Providence, RI? Daughter of Annie Carr and her husband James Sloan, their only known child. She was last seen in 1885 census of Providence, age 5, living with parents. Parents apparently separated. Mother died in Providence in 1891, father in Providence 1908. Annie Carr was the daughter of John Carr and Mary Murphy, Irish natives who lived in England before immigrating about 1850. Lived in Salem, MA, before Providence. James Sloan was the son of John Sloan and Catherine Savage.
