some ideas to help

I get the feeling you came across a picture that doesn't belong to your family and you are trying to locate a family to give it to? It will be tough to identify a family, but I have a couple of questions.

Is the lady in the picture elderly or young? I guess it's possible that a person could come across a picture of their grandmother taken when she was a child and still write "grandma" on the back of the picture. That's why I ask. It will help narrow down her possible era of birth.

Is the photographer's name or company name on the picture? It could help narrow down the date also by tracking through old city directories and other sources to see when this photographer was in business.

Do you know if this lady was from Worcester or just had her picture taken there? Have you spotted this lady in other pictures with other people that you CAN identify? If so then we could research those people and try to find a connection they had to any Landers.

I'm not related but would be glad to help if I can.
