I am trying to discover the parents of Sophronia Bailey b.1805 and Eliza Bailey b. abt 1800.
According to the History of Peterborough, NH, Sophronia and Eliza were both daughters of Jonathon Bailey. They were both married to Smith men in Charlestown, MA.
Sophronia was married on Sept. 12, 1831 to Alexander Hamilton Smith.
Eliza was married on April 22, 1822.
Sophronia died in OH in 1848. On the census for Eliza it states she was born in NY.
Any help on finding Jonathon or his wife would be greatly appreciated.
