Might you have access to any other records regarding this family?
Hannah French was born between ca 1801-1805 in Boston, MA.
Any additional info on her parents Othniel, born in Boston and Hannah also born Boston?
Another researcher advised that he was the son of Jonah & Melathiah (Metcalf). HOWEVER, that Othniel was born 10/28/1759 and died in 1/13/1760 at 11 weeks old. Both events occurring in Keene, NH. Therefore could NOT be the same Othniel French.
I have evidence of an
Othniel French md to Hannah Carrey 10/27/1793 Boston, MA;
Othniel French living in a house owned by Henry Dix on Prince St, Boston though date unk to me.
Othniel French buried at Copps Hill, Boston - no date
But I have found nothing yet to substantiate these are all the same man!
I believe that Hannah is the same Hannah French who married George Acres 10/29/1818 Boston, according to the marriage record of that date posted perviously on genforum Suffolk co message 1406.
I wonder if the actual record shows the full names of her parents and those of her groom? Or any other details?
I am also trying to substatite the parents of the Groom.
