Victoria Wiseman and grandson Preston Stump, son CDR Christopher Wiseman USN, daughter in law Jennifer and grandson Nicholas. He was comptroller and business manager of the Boston Children's Museum from 1980-2000 and a longtime trustee of the Golden Ball Tavern Museum. Burial will be private and a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. He was the husband of Linda (White) Wiseman. Mr. Wiseman was a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Cornell University and earned a master's degree from Babson College. He was associated with Little Brown & Co., David Godine Publishing in Boston and served as controller and business manager of the Children's Museum of Boston from 1980 to 2000. He was a member of Union Boat Club, Boston, Eastward Ho! Country Club of Chatham, and Stone Horse Yacht Club of Harwich Port. He was a longtime member of the board of trustees of the Golden Ball Tavern Museum of Weston and the steering committee of the Seminarians, an American Decorative Arts study group in Boston. Besides his wife, Mr. Wiseman is survived by his daughter, Dr. C. Victoria Wiseman; his son, CDR Christopher Wiseman USN, and two grandsons. A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 9, at 5 p.m., at Gore Place, 52 Gore Place, Waltham, Mass. Memorial donations may be made to the Golden Ball Tavern Museum, Box 223, Weston, MA 02493.
