Noah,
I just re-read my answer to your George Masoncup question. Perhaps you do not realize that the name has been spelled Masoncup, Masencup, Masincup, Messenkop and many other ways. I believe your George Masoncup and my ancestor are probably the same person. He was born in Maryland in the 1780s.
